 Thinking outside the boat.

My husband, Tom, and I certainly like to visit the world’s ports, but we also like to go to places where cruise ships can’t go. If you are associated with Mentor High School , you may remember him as a teacher and coach there. We have been to Las Vegas many times. We have also visited New York City , San Diego , San Francisco , Los Angeles and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic among other places. We enjoy motorcycle traveling as well. We will never run out of wonderful vacation ideas. Does this variety sound good to you? Don’t think that because a trip you are considering does not involve a boat that you will have to go to someone else for assistance. I will be most happy to help you plan the air, rail, and land portions of any vacation you want to take.

In my professional career I have arranged both cruise and land packages for family reunions, getaways for work friends, and even trips for softball teams. Of course, I am always ready to help couples plan weddings or honeymoons in exotic locations. I would like to help you too.

In the past it was said that you could join the navy and see the world. With the blossoming of cruising, you can now see the world in luxury without enlisting. Some people like to explore ports on their own with the freedom to pick and choose where to go. Others like the planned shore excursions. They feel secure in knowing that they will be taken to the local attractions and have the knowledge of local guides to provide information about the history and culture of the places they visit. Either way I can help you make the choices that will be the most enjoyable for you.

 What is there to do ashore?

There are many options during each cruise. For the adventurous there are helicopter tours, rafting trips, jungle explorations, submarine diving, off road jeep driving, Segway tours and snorkeling. For a more laid back vacation, there are bus tours, plantation visits, shopping tours, scenic views, boat rides, beach parties and visits to historical sites. Because I and my friends have taken many of these tours, I can tell you what to expect. The choice is yours.
