 Are you new to the cruise business?

 I have been involved with the cruise industry for twenty-three years. This has allowed me to directly experience various ships and destinations. I have also built up many contacts within the industry. This helps us when we need to help you.

 Why do you like selling cruises?

 I enjoy booking cruises because I am certain that I can find a cruise that will suit almost everyone. The beauty of a cruise is that it is a complete vacation. You don’t have to do your own cooking or cleaning. You don’t waste time packing and unpacking your bags each day. While you are moving from place to place, you are not sitting on a bus. You are seated in a fine dining room enjoying a gourmet meal, watching a stage show or dancing to a live band.

 My wife, Jeanette, and I enjoy the seminars that are offered on many cruises. They can be of a general nature or might involve the places you will visit on your cruise. You may hear about artists, volcanoes, the Panama Canal , history, culture, fly fishing or any number of other topics.

 Is it possible to book a cruise the same way I find airline tickets online?

 When you are buying airline, train or bus tickets, you know the starting city, destination city and the dates you want to travel. It is a relatively simple process to find the lowest fare for the time period during which you want to travel. A cruise is a lot more complicated.

 When selecting a cruise you must choose the itinerary, cruise line, travel dates, cruise length and shore excursions. Each decision will have an impact on the quality of your experience. We can help you by providing expert information about your available choices. We might even tell you about choices you didn’t know were possible.

 What kind of choices would I have that I might not know about?

 For example, would you know that some cruises are on full-rigged sailing ships? Would you know that some destinations feature excursions that allow you to travel through jungles from tree to tree on cables strung high above the jungle floor? Would you know which cruise lines feature activities geared toward people of your age group? Would you know about river cruises in the northwest region of the United States on paddlewheel boats? We know about the options you have when you choose to cruise. We will be happy to share them with you.

 Which shore excursion did you like best?

 If I had to pick one, I would say that we had a grand time on the four-wheel drive tour on St. Kitts. It’s surprising what you can find on these less known islands.
